Workin’ Moms
Welcome back, I know you miss my mind-blowing and super awesome recommendations, so here is another one.
Actors which I know and I am assuming you know too
I f you’ve watched “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” like I mentioned in my last blog, then congratulations, you’ve got impeccable taste in TV. If you haven’t, what the hell are you doing here? Seriously, go watch it. I’ll wait. Done? Good. Anyway, the lead actress of this new show is from that series. The rest of the cast? I have no clue either. Go ahead, hang me.
But I can tell you this: every actor in this Canadian series is top-notch. Here they are, in all their glory:
Plot
Wait, hold on! Before you roll your eyes and think, “Oh great, another series about moms who juggle work and home life,” hear me out. Yeah, you’re somewhat right, but this series is like a shot of espresso with a side of tequila. It’s raw, unfiltered, and realer than your 3 AM panic about life choices. These moms are out here slaying dragons at work, crushing the competition, and keeping their homes from turning into chaotic jungles. Hats off to them!
And their husbands? Oh, don’t even get me started. Let’s just say there will be blood. Why? Well, you’ll have to watch to find out. Trust me, it’s a wild ride.
My wisdom regarding this series
Honestly, since I started watching this show, my problems seem smaller than my temper. I know, I know, you’re thinking, “Pooja, what is this behavior? Don’t invalidate your own feelings!” But trust me, I’m not. Watching these moms tackle life with the ferocity of a caffeinated/high tiger has given me the kick in the pants I needed to get my own stuff done.
Their dedication and spirit to work through problems is like a motivational speech wrapped in a cozy blanket of chaos. I absolutely loved every minute of it. By the end of the series, you’ll be ready to start a fan club for each character. They’re that inspiring. This series is just so validating, so real, it’s like they took a slice of life and added a sprinkle of magic.
Conclusion
B y the end of the series, you’ll be rooting for each character as if they’re your own friends. They’ll make you laugh, cry, and maybe even reassess your own approach to life’s hurdles. So, if you’re ready for a show that’s as validating and real as it is entertaining, “Workin’ Moms” is your next must-watch.
Thank you are reading and let me know which mom’s hilarous moment was your favorite.
