Once again, a movie full of characters I didn’t recognize. But then, bam! A very young Liam Hemsworth caught my eye. The cast was a delightful surprise, with excellent chemistry that kept things lively. Let me introduce you to this fun bunch!
Plot
I was in the mood for a no-brainer flick, so I picked a random movie suggestion and hit play. I saw a boat, I saw people, and immediately thought, “Ah, a survival movie. Easy peasy.” Boy, was I wrong.
The plot kicks off with a group of friends chilling on a boat, having a blast. Then, out of nowhere, their boat gets hijacked by pirates. Yup, pirates! Just when you think you’ve got it figured out, things get really weird — trust me, you won’t see it coming. Give it a go; it’s a wild ride from start to finish!
My wisdom regarding this movie
Yeah, no, this movie had the rare power to pull my bored brain into full engagement from start to finish without even a glance at my phone. And trust me, very few films can boast that achievement. It kept me on my toes the entire time, making me realize this might just be my new favorite genre.
It’s survival-based, it’s dangerous, there’s blood — so much happening, you can’t even keep up. One thing became crystal clear: no matter how clever you think you are at hacking the system, you can never escape fate. What’s written for you is coming, whether you’re ready or not. Give it a watch and see if it keeps you hooked like it did me!
