This movie features my all-time favorite comedic duo: Seth Rogen and James Franco. When these two team up, you can bet chaos is on the menu, with a side of uncontrollable laughter. I know, I know — we’re all giving James Franco the side-eye these days, but just this once, let’s pretend we don’t, for the sake of comedy gold. You won’t regret it. My source? Trust me — I’m basically a professional at laughing.
Plot
So here’s the plot: James Franco hosts a celebrity interview TV show, and Seth Rogen is the genius producer behind it. Believe it or not, these two are actually successful — don’t ask how, just trust me. They’ve had everyone from Iggy Azalea to Nicki Minaj and even Eminem on the show. But of course, Seth gets bored with the whole “we’re famous and rich” thing and decides they need to do something big. Like, world-changing big.
And where do they go looking for their next guest? Oh, just the Supreme Leader of North Korea, Kim Jong Un. Yep, they want to interview him. Naturally, everyone loses their minds. This is the opportunity of a lifetime for these two clowns.
But wait, it gets better. Knock, knock, knock! Who’s at the door? The FBI. And they’re not here to congratulate them. Nope, they have a little request: how about you two take out Kim Jong Un while you’re at it? Seriously?! I wouldn’t trust these guys to water my plants, let alone carry out an assassination.

My wisdom regarding this movie
This movie is packed with the most hilarious, cringiest, and downright dirtiest jokes you’ll ever hear. It’s so ridiculously good, you’ll be begging for more. Imagine the clumsiest people in the world — now picture the FBI handing them the responsibility to kill a world leader. Are you kidding me? I was on the edge of my seat, freaking out, thinking, “How in the world are these two going to pull this off?” It felt nearly impossible. If you want to know how this wild ride ends, you’ve got to watch the movie. Trust me, it’s a chaotic rollercoaster!
