Plot
Emile Hirsch is back, adding another bizarre movie to his collection! In this 2022 flick, clearly inspired by pandemic lockdowns, Emile and Kate play a couple who volunteer for a psychological experiment. The catch? They’re locked in a room for 50 days with no devices, no personal belongings, and nothing to do but if you survived, you win 5 million.
You might think, “A couple in a room for 50 days? It’s heaven!” Oh boy, you’re so wrong. As dark secrets emerge and the monotony sets in, their relationship is put to the test. Then, Ashley Greene, a young, attractive woman, enters the picture. You can guess the rest.

My wisdom regarding this movie
I initially thought, “Easy peasy, quick money!” But as I got deeper into the movie, my thoughts changed. It felt so realistic, and the reactions were incredibly raw. The second half? It put me in a state of annoyed fascination — I hated it and loved it simultaneously.
