Palm Springs (2020)
Welcome back, I know you miss my mind-blowing and super awesome recommendations, so here is another one.
Actors which I know and I am assuming you know too
Attention all Andy Samberg fans, gather around! I’ve got a movie recommendation for you. Unlike his hilarious role in Brooklyn Nine-Nine, this one showcases a more serious side of him. Joining him is Cristin Milioti, the mother from How I Met Your Mother. I hope you don’t still hold a grudge against her character. If you do, suck it up and watch this one anyway. Here are their looks in the film.
Plot
The movie starts with a wedding — not Andy’s or Cristin’s, but her sister’s. Both Andy Samberg and Cristin Milioti’s characters are disinterested and feel like the disappointments of their families. They meet at the wedding, are drawn to each other, and things start to unfold.
Here’s the twist: they realize they’re stuck in a time loop. No matter what they do, even if they die, they keep reliving the same day over and over. It’s both hilarious and bizarre. Watch this movie to find out what happens next and how it all finally ends.
My wisdom regarding this movie
Andy Samberg is one of the finest actors in Hollywood, and he never disappoints when it comes to both acting and the quality of the scripts he chooses. From the very start, this film captivated me and held my attention until the end. Not once did I find anything unnatural or illogical.
There are scenes that are so raw and genuine, perfectly showcasing the imperfections and vulnerabilities that make us human. Andy’s performance is compelling, drawing you into the story and making you care deeply about what happens next. It’s a film that resonates on many levels and leaves a lasting impression. Truly an amazing watch.
Conclusion
Just watch it~
