Welcome back, I know you miss my mind-blowing and super awesome recommendations, so here is another one.

Introduction

For my Korean drama series lovers who are dedicated enough to binge 17 episodes, each over an hour long, packed with twists and drama — this is for you! The series delivers exactly what you’d expect from its name. After some research, I discovered that the creators were inspired by a real-life incident involving two famous celebrities in Mexico.

The cast

Plot

Imagine marrying your long-term boyfriend, who loves you dearly, and having a ride-or-die best friend you know is your soulmate. What a happy place, right? On paper, it sounds dreamy, but not for Ji-Won. She was the nicest wife and best friend, but things took an ugly turn when she was diagnosed with stomach cancer. All hell broke loose.

In pain and struggling to live, she felt grateful for having her best friend by her side. Or so she thought! The doctor informed her that they couldn’t proceed with treatment until the bills were paid. Sad and desperate, she headed home, struggling to get to her apartment. She opened the door and saw red heels at the entrance — heels that weren’t hers. Poor Ji-Won got the shock of her life when she found her husband and best friend together in bed, making plans to actually kill her.

This is just the first episode! Imagine what the next 16 episodes have in store.

Conclusion

I’m not usually enthusiastic about Korean dramas, but this one is a must-watch! Trust me, I’m going to pester everyone to watch it.

Thank you for reading~
