Plot
A s the name says chill guys, this is not another “Breaking Bad” with a Pinkman-Walter dynamic. Oh, no way! This show is all about cooking. Yeah, you heard me right — cooking! Picture this: Brie Larson as a brilliant up-and-coming scientist whose precision is sharper than my eyeliner on a good day. Set in the late ’60s, an era when women were expected to do little more than pop out babies and perfect their pie crusts. But Brie? She’s something else entirely. Imagine transitioning from the lab to a cooking TV show. What? How? It’s a wild ride, and you have to watch to believe it. Get ready for a journey that’s more unexpected than finding a Gordon Ramsay recipe in your cookbook!
My wisdom regarding this series
Brie Larson is my absolute favorite actress, and seeing her in this series? Pure joy! The way she uses her chemistry knowledge in cooking made me realize that cooking is no joke. So, naturally, I ordered takeout from Uber Eats. Lol.
But seriously, this series has it all — it’s funny, it’s motivating, it’s sad — it’s the whole package. I love how passionate she is about chemistry; it influenced me and reminded me of my existing reality. Now, every time I make toast without burning it, I feel like a culinary genius. True Story!. Thanks, Brie!
