Welcome back, I know you miss my mind-blowing and super awesome recommendations, so here is another one.

Actors which I know and I am assuming you know too

So, I’ve been waiting ever so patiently after the Schitt’s Creek craze to find out where I could get more of our favorite ‘Ew, David’ queen, Annie Murphy. Well, guess what? The wait is over! Annie Murphy — yes, our beloved Alexis — is starring in a new series. And who’s she starring alongside, you ask? Honestly, some dude I’ve never heard of, but hey, it’s Annie Murphy, so that’s all that really matters, right? Anyway, here’s the cast:

And now you know

Plot

So, I stumbled upon this series with a plot so unique it’s like nothing you’ve ever seen before. Picture this: Kevin, who happens to be Annie Murphy’s on-screen husband, is an absolute piece of work. Seriously, he’s the kind of guy who thinks the world revolves around him — and get this, the creators are absolute geniuses because whenever Kevin’s in the shot, the whole show turns into this cheesy sitcom, complete with fake laughs and everything. It’s like Kevin’s living in his own delusional ‘I’m the star of this show’ bubble, and the fake laughs are just there to hide his massive ego.

But then, when Kevin’s out of the frame, the show flips back to a normal HD layout, and that’s when things get real. Enter Alexis — I mean, Annie Murphy — who’s had just about enough of Kevin’s sitcom life. She’s frustrated, fed up, and she starts plotting her great escape from all of it. And let me tell you, what happens next is wild! But I’m not spilling the beans — you’ll just have to watch the series to find out!

My wisdom regarding this series

I am not going to shut up about this layout-changing idea — it’s seriously genius. So, I started watching the show casually, you know, just chilling. But then I focused on Kevin, and holy hell, that piece of work is the ultimate trifecta: abuser, gaslighter, manipulator — just throw in all the psychological red flags. It hit me that Annie’s character is trapped in this emotionally abusive relationship, and suddenly, the show wasn’t just a watch — it was a wild ride through some seriously heavy stuff.

And Annie? She’s out here letting herself go full-on feral at times just to keep her sanity intact, and honestly, I’m here for it. It’s definitely a hard watch, but so worth it. Trust me, this is a show you need to see. Feral Annie for the win!

Conclusion

Just watch it~

Thank you for reading!
