Black Bird
Welcome back, I know you miss my mind-blowing and super awesome recommendations, so here is another one.
Actors which I know and I am assuming you know too
Well, well, well, my lovely ladies, assemble! This one’s a special treat just for you. In this oh-so-addictive series, we are graced with the divine presence of the one and only Taron Egerton, famously known for setting our hearts aflutter in Kingsman. His performance here? Pure magic. Oh my stars, I fell head over heels all over again. It’s official — if loving Taron Egerton is wrong, I don’t want to be right!. Lets me share his look for this series after I stop drooling.
Plot
⚠️Warning: Sexual assault, trauma⚠️
Well, there’s Taron Egerton, and honestly, that’s enough to grab anyone’s attention. But seriously, this series dives deep into a gripping true story from the past. Imagine a master manipulator drug dealer who finally gets caught — his drugs and all the money, gone in an instant. Just when you think it’s over, the plot takes an unimaginable twist. You won’t believe what the police propose to him for his release.
The crimes depicted are chilling and brutal, leaving scars that time struggles to heal. My heart goes out to all the families affected. I truly hope they are finding peace and strength to move forward.
My wisdom regarding this series
When I first started watching this series, it was obviously because of the main lead — who can resist Taron Egerton, right? But as the show progressed, my anxiety levels shot through the roof! The filming is so intense, capturing everyone’s emotions perfectly. Instead of glorifying the killer’s feelings, it highlights the victims’ emotions, giving them a powerful voice demanding justice.
This show had me biting my nails like crazy — not that I needed an excuse, but now I have a valid one! It’s a nail-biting, nerve-wracking rollercoaster of a limited series that you absolutely must watch. Trust me, it’s worth every minute of lost sleep and all the nail clippings!
Conclusion
Trust me, you absolutely need to watch this series. It’s so good and thank me later.
Thank you for reading!
